
Peter A. Phelps
Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer
Peter has over 20 years experience in finance, accounting, and operations areas. In the dual role of COO and CFO, he is responsible for the financial management and strategic functions in addition to the day-to-day operations and sales management.
Before joining the company, Peter was a partner with Cobblestone Advisers LLC, a firm that provides strategic advisory services and raises capital for privately held businesses. Prior to Cobblestone, he was the CFO for Plymouth Rock Assurance Corporation, GiantLoop Network, Inc. (now CentrePath), Andover.Net, Inc. and Rosse Enterprises Limited, a private equity firm in Boston. Peter began his career in the audit department of Ernst & Young LLP, followed by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in the tax department.
Peter holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland and an M.B.A. from George Washington University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Athena Mortenson
Business Development Manager
Athena Mortenson’s mortgage technology and credit reporting background lend themselves to the business development and product management of Credex. She generates new sales opportunities to strategic distribution partners in addition to entering new markets, capitalizing on her expertise in the product’s uses and the company’s positioning in order to meet the client’s needs.
Prior to joining the company, Athena was a National Marketing Specialist at Kroll Factual Data, a credit reporting agency. Her focus at Kroll was on creating, implementing and managing their e-lending initiatives of automated underwriting and platform integration.
Athena graduated with a B.S. in Management from North Carolina State University with an emphasis in Marketing and Finance. She also holds a CDIA certification for the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Ryan Dingman
Senior Software Architect
Ryan brings over 10 years of professional software development and consulting experience to Credex. As the senior software architect at Next he is responsible for building and managing the framework for Credex as well as overseeing all development and quality assurance related to the product.
Ryan's experience at Next is comprised of writing various regulatory and pricing applications as well as managing the technological aspects of supporting a multi-billion dollar lending platform.
Prior to joining Next, Ryan worked for a U.S.-based division for FrontBase, Inc., a Danish database vendor designing applications to enable users to interact and utilize the FrontBase server. Before FrontBase he worked for two consulting companies called Omni Group and Tensor Information Systems developing applications for many of their clientele.
