OUR COMMITMENT TO YOUR PRIVACY.  We respect the privacy of your information and we provide this explanation about our online information practices to show you our commitment to protect your privacy.  We also want to inform you about the choices you have regarding our collection and use of this information. We do not sell or share your personally-identifying information collected during your use of CREDEX without your permission. Please review this privacy notice and you may contact us via email with any questions regarding this Privacy Policy at support@credex.net. Consumers under the age of 18 may not use CREDEX® and may not send any personal information to us.

INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT. CREDEX® does not store your credit report. CREDEX® is not a credit reporting agency or a seller of credit report information. Rather, the CREDEX® technology is a secure gateway to enhance the secure delivery of information to your mortgage originator. Furthermore, absolutely none of the information contained in your credit report will ever be sold to any third-party by CREDEX®.

CREDIT REPORT INACCURACIES.  CREDEX® is not responsible for and cannot change or amend the information in your credit report. If you believe that information in your credit report is inaccurate you should contact the credit reporting agency who provided you the report or speak to your mortgage originator directly.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT. The main reason we collect your personal information, including your name, address, Social Security number, date of birth, and credit card numbers (“personal identifying information”) is so that we can provide the products and services that you request. At the time you make a request, we collect and store your personal identifying information. All personal identifying information we collect and store is encrypted for your protection.  We collect your credit card number in order to process the payment for your products and services. We may also collect and store personal identifying information that we receive from others involved in your transactions or from whom you order products and services, such as real estate agents or lenders. We require this information in order to provide, and to authorize our business partners to provide, the products and services that you request and to send you offers and promotions for other products and services that you qualify for. We may also use this personal identifying information to customize your experience while using CREDEX®.

In addition, we automatically gather and store general and statistical information such as IP addresses, browsers, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, click numbers, and cookies, etc., (the “Analytical Data”) and this information is used by us to analyze trends, administer our web site, track a user's movement and gather broad demographic information and experience related data. For example, one type of analytical information we collect are cookies. A cookie is a small piece of information stored on your computer´s hard drive that web sites use to help make shopping online easier. Most cookies are automatically deleted from your hard drive after each session. We may set cookies on your computer and access those cookies that we set in order to assist us in providing the products and services that you order. We may automatically track and save this Analytical Data regarding your behavior on CREDEX® so that CREDEX® and its trusted business partners can provide you with additional, individually tailored, products and services.

INFORMATION WE DO NOT SHARE.  We do not share any of your personal identifying information with any non-affiliated third-party except as required by law. 

INFORMATION WE MAY USE AND SHARE.  We may use and share the personal indentifying information we collect about you as follows: (1) if you give us permission to do so; or (2) if permitted or required by law.  In addition, we may also share the non-personal identifying information and Analytical Data we collect about you with our affiliated companies and strategic partners for the purpose of marketing products and services tailored to your needs. CREDEX® contains links for other offers and products that we feel you may be qualified for or have an interest in. We believe these sites share a similar commitment to consumer privacy as we do. However, you are urged to review their privacy policy before you register and order any product or service as we cannot be responsible for their privacy practices. We may provide the Analytical Data to third parties, and we may match this information with offline data available from other sources in order to provide products and services and conduct target advertising and promotions more effectively. If you order products or services from one of our business partners, we may exchange with that vendor your personal identifying information and Analytical Data for these purposes. 
We can also disclose your personal identifying information to the company providing the requested product or service such as a credit report provider, mortgage loan originator, real estate agent, and title company and escrow agent. These third-party service providers are contractually bound to only use the information received from CREDEX® solely for the purpose of providing you with the product or service that you authorize. Our policy regarding the collection and use of personal identifying information about former customers is the same for our existing customers. 

OPTIONS REGARDING MARKETING.  If you do not wish to receive offers about new products or services tailored to your needs from CREDEX®, its affiliates, or from its business partners, you can elect to opt-out at the time your order for the service or product is placed online.
